I have seen some derogatory information on the internet about a shop in Crystal City owned by La-Or. I would like to go on record to report that I went to some woman in Vienna, Virginia and she charged me twice as much for her work and this woman in Vienna, VA, gave me and eyebrow tattoo which didn't last more than 6months so I had seek out another permanent Eye Make-Up person to fix my eyebrows and eyeliner so found a shop in Crystal City. Not only did the shop (called La-Or) charge half the price that woman in Vienna charged me; but La-Or did such a marvelous job on my eyebrows that many of my friends admire the work when I tell them about my having white eyebrows and that I got my eyebrows and that I got my eyebrows tattooed on. The work that I had done in the Crystal City Shop looked so real and the color of my eyebrows match my hair completely to where my friends were amazed and found it hard to believe that my eyebrows were tattooed on. I give credit to the lady who owns the La-Or shop in the Crystal City. She is or of the nicest person that I've ever met and she does excellent work which has lasted many years.

I highly recommend La-Or Skin Care & Nails for permanent makeup! A few years ago, I had permanent makeup applied on my eyebrows at another place in VA. The technician used a color that was too dark then toned it down with a red color. It looked fine until it faded and I was left with red color on my eyebrows. A couple of my friends commented about it, as well as my Mother and the saleswoman at the Lancome counter. I had to use an eyebrow pencil every day to cover the color.
Then I discovered La-Or Skin Care & Nails. La-Or is the owner of the salon and she applies the permanent makeup herself. La-Or is an artist! She studied my eyebrow shape, thinning areas, color, and the shape of my face to create a beautiful natural look. I am very happy with her work. Friends are impressed as well. La-Or is highly experienced and the cost is also less than at other places. This is specialized work so it is important to choose the right person to perform it. La-Or is the expert at permanent makeup!

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful results I am enjoying from the permanent eyeliner procedure you did for me two weeks ago.
As I mentioned to you earlier, I have had the procedure done before but now wanted a darker, more dramatic look. Previously, I had my permanent eyeliner done by an eye doctor and then had a touch-up done by a cosmetologist who injected painkiller around my eyes before the tattooing. They used four shots above each eye and four below...and I can tell you that not only were these injections very painful, but they left my eyes black and blue for two weeks, and I have a good tolerance to pain. I couldn't go to work for two days, and had to wear tons of heavy makeup to cover the bruises.
Apparently the injections cause more pain and visible after-effects than using a tropical solution such as yours. I was also pleased that I found you because your procedure was so much easier for me.
Also you should know that I paid $625 for the first time and $150 for touch-ups. I think you should raise your prices!
You tattooed both of my eyes, top and bottom, on a Wednesday night. I applied chilled ice-tea bags to my eyes all evening and the next morning before work. I used my usual eye makeup for work the next day and a few people said I looked like I "had a hard night". Thursday night I was on a plane to Arizona for my high school reunion. I rested my eyes a lot on Friday and used the cold ice-tea bags on my eyes again. On Saturday night I attended my class reunion with perfect eyes! Everyone said I looked as young as the day I graduated, and this was my 20th reunion. You should have seen all the guys who stood around talking to me.
I just wanted to tell you my story and thank you for your high standards of perfection. For other women who are considering having this done, they may benefit from hearing about my past experiences and also be aware that if they take care of themselves afterwards like I did, they can enjoy the benefits much sooner. It is hard to know what to expect the first time, and tattooing is not a painless procedure; but the resulting beauty and convenience makes it worthwhile! I just love being able to get out of the shower or pool, or just to wake up in the morning with beautiful eyes. I feel so much more attractive, and I like the way I look.
I suggest that you start a photo album with "before and after" photos of your clients and include letter as well. Anyone who has been through this procedure before will especially appreciate your excellent technique.
I am enclosing a photo of myself with was taken a few days ago. You can use this in your "before and after" album. I am not wearing any makeup in the photo...no mascara, eyeshadow, cover-up, or eyeliner.

I wanted to take the time to let you know how very pleased I am with the retouch you did on my eyebrows. Don't think I told you but I had an electrolysis do my eyebrows 4 years ago. They were never even and one was purple and the other brow was brown. Everyday for four years I have had to use eyebrow pencil to fill in the gaps and different colors. I was changed $350.00 4 years ago by a so called "professional" that really botched the job.
Not only did you correct the length and fullness, but you matched the color of my brows with my hair. I consider the work you did on my brows a complete eyebrow makeover not a retouch!
